| In the January number of the Musical Review "Man and Music"
1987 you can find a large article concerning the Peter Visser-LP mentioned
before by the music critic R. Degens. In the following review, February
1987, is a long article about Peter Visser written by the music journalist
E.J.B. Besier. In this article he mentioned also the many poems, written
by the composer, and gave some examples. |
| Peter Visser himself published many articles about music,
in the first place in the Haagse Courant (concert reviews, but also other
reviews, three articles about French Concourses and about the Festival of
Ancient Music Utrecht). In the period 1980-1983 he published several large
reviews in the cultural newspaper of The Hague "Het Vaderland". Here we
find articles about the Passions of Bach, about Dutch composers such as
Louis Andriessen, Frank Martin, Dick Raaymakers and Sem Dresden, as well
as other composers such as Schönberg, Stravinsky and Stockhausen. |
| He also wrote many interviews with well-known musicians such
as the organist Marie-Claire Alain and the violinist and music historian
Willem Noske. |
| Peter Visser also published in several music reviews, such
as the Frank Martin Bulletin and the Skjrabin Bulletin. The most important
tribute he made in the period 1982-1989 in the musical review "Man and Melody".
We find articles about Soefi Music and about composers such as Roussel,
Franck, Schumann and several Dutch composers as Léon Orthel and Francois
Steenhuis. |
